The Perfect Discovery was founded by Hedy Ghavidel an attorney with over a decade of litigation experience across a variety of legal fields. She saw a gap that most firms simply worked around instead of solving: talented first-year associates, law clerks, paralegals, legal secretaries, and assistants were being placed with firms before they were truly ready,  leaving both the new professional and the firm to figure it out together, often under pressure. Hedy believed there was a better way.

With the collaboration and support of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, Hedy’s belief became a mission: to close the learning gap before day one. Together with her team, she aspires to work directly with bar associations, law schools, colleges, and paralegal schools to identify promising legal support professionals, then mentor them through the specific processes and expectations of each law firm, so they walk in prepared, confident, and ready to contribute, while adapting to and leveraging the new world of AI.
